The objective of the use is to demonstrate how CAM services, deployed in the available points of presence by the CAM Services Platform, which is developed in 5G-ROUTES, can be used to support drivers when moving across borders. Demonstrated support functions are platooning for automated vehicles supported by see-through low-latency video transmission. The objective of platooning is to implement a system for automated vehicles to dynamically form a platoon with harmonised speeds following a piloting vehicle. The vehicles in the platoon can also perform automated lane change manoeuvres.
