The use case provides situational awareness information to drivers in cross-border environments. This use case consists of different functionalities, which involve CAM services which are disseminating data packets towards road users (vehicles, roadworkers…) to ensure the safety and continuity of traffic-related information during border crossing. Service continuity is ensured when crossing borders to maintain a high level of availability in automated driving functionalities by ensuring that a CAV can quickly respond to any critical event.
