5G-TOURS: Remote and distributed video production

Home » 5G-TOURS: Remote and distributed video production

This use case aims to exploit the 5G network performances in the context of remote and distributed television production, in which the final content is produced by mixing local and remote audio and video contributions from different sources. Large bandwidth (especially in the uplink) and low and constant latency were the most stringent requirements for this use case. The trial implemented the concept of the “itinerant orchestra”, for which the composer Andrea Molino created a specific composition to emphasise the use of new technologies in the music world.
