This use case was implemented in three different sub-use cases. In the first one, the visitors of Palazzo Madama were involved in an enhanced visit to the museum through a mobile application integrating different technologies (including beacons, AR and smart city services) in which additional context-aware information (crowding level, alarms, etc.) and multimedia contents (photos, videos, audio guide, 3D models, etc.) were made available based on their position. In the second sub-use case, visitors were involved in a VR experience in which they were engaged to solve a memory game by replacing the paintings in the correct frames; besides providing information about the artworks, the experience was gamified to allow multi-user interaction in collaborative or challenge modes. The third sub-use case was implemented at GAM, in which students were able to directly practice De Maria's art creation process through an XR gamified experience on an interactive wall.
