5GROWTH: Telemetry/Monitoring Apps

In this use case, an extensive sensor deployment is in place to monitor and prevent machinery and equipment failures through massive data collection (i.e. vibration, pressure, temperature and so on). 5G facilitates installing a wide range of different wireless sensors that are easy to attach to machinery. COMAU has already developed its own IIoT (Industrial Internet of Things) solution which gathers data directly from machinery as well as sensor data. This tool is constantly updated, and now the next objective, addressed by the current use case, is to reinforce the fault predictive capabilities.
