When a bonded composite repair is performed, all repair data (temperature, humidity, vacuum level etc.) are recorded, in order to certify that the overall process has been performed according to specifications and confirm the physical and mechanical properties of the repaired part. Within the frame of EVOLVED-5G the use case ANITA system of hot bonder(s) are used for repair curing and are connected to the 5G network at the repair area, in order to transmit in real-time all related data to the Engineering Centre of aircraft manufacturer/airline/MRO creating a Digital/Physical Twins of the actual repair. The use case includes the initial communication between end-users, the initialization of the secured communication (primary and secondary ANITA system) necessary for the realisation of the twin repair. The next step is to retrieve information about the geographical location of both devices: primary and secondary Anita.
