This vertical application develops HD/4K video services, Video 360, Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality (VR) services in Smart City with the aim of increasing service and network performance compared to those available with 4G systems.
Key features include: the availability of High Definition Contents (UHD), VR and various formats directly in the locations where users are located and on a variety of technology platforms (5G smartphones, VR viewers, smartTVs, multimedia totems) are key features of this use case.
In terms of 5G functionalities, 5GCity demonstrations, trials and pilots investigate:
